TO THE QUESTION OF THE FORMATION OF MOTIVATION OF SECONDARY SCHOOL PUPILS TO THE LESSONS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE BY MEANS OF MODERN MUSIC
Abstract
In the article common definitions of the term «motivation» were given, types of motives were selected. The task is to identify the influence of modern music on the positive dynamics of the formation of motivation of secondary school pupils to the lessons offoreign lessons. The authors substantiate the urgency of using modern music in order to increase the motivation of secondary school pupils to foreign language studying in accordance with their psycho-physiological characteristics. Methods of diagnosing the level of motivation and tasks with using modern English songs are presented in the article. In order to confirm the research hypothesis experiment was conducted. The results of the experiment allowed the authors to justify using of modern music at foreign language lessons in order to increase the level of motivation to foreign language studying.
