INDICATORS OF STUDENTS’ ACADEMIC MOBILITY FROM THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION TO RUSSIA

Abstract

Purpose. The article is devoted to quantitative and qualitative indicators of students’ academic mobility from certain countries of the Asia-Pacific region to the Russian Federation from 2014/2015 to 2018/2019 academic year. Method and methodology of the work. The methods used are as follows: strategic analysis, theoretical analysis of the sources of the research problem, graphical method. Results. The study shows the dynamics of academic mobility of students from various countries of the Asia-Pacific region to the Russian Federation in the period from 2014/2015 to 2018/2019 academic year taking into account contract-based education as well as educational state grants (quotas). The results of the study show the prestige of obtaining Russian education and problematic aspects of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Asia-Pacific region. The scope of the results. The results of the study can be used in the field of forecasting the export of educational services of the Russian Federation and educational cooperation of the Russian Federation with the Asia-Pacific countries.
