Yasaklı Bitkiden Potansiyel Bir Hazineye Doğru: Samsun, Amasya ve Tokat İllerinde Kenevir (Cannabis sativa L. hemp) Yetiştiriciliğinin Best-Worst Yöntemiyle Analizi
Abstract
Cannabis, which was cultivated with the discovery of agriculture in the Neolithic period and has an extremely important share in the development of civilizations, can be used in many areas with its rich fiber content, but it is the most suspicious plant in the world due to the use of cannabis with high THC content (marijuana) became an illegal drug. Cannabis type (hemp), also known as industrial cannabis, is cultivated with permission in some areas in Türkiye due to its ecologically positive effects on the environment and high economic returns. Also, 25,000 different products produced by using cannabis. In this study, it was aimed to determine suitable fields for cannabis cultivation in Samsun, Amasya and Tokat provinces. For this purpose, ecological demands and field conditions were analyzed using the Best-worst method, revealing that 22-29% of the study area's agricultural land is suitable for hemp cultivation. This study is important for promoting widespread hemp cultivation.
