Education through cinema. Franklin Delano Roosevelt's polio on the movies (III): Hyde Park on Hudson (2012)

Abstract

Through the figure of Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1939, permanent sequelae of spinal poliomyelitis are analyzed. The limitations caused by the disease and the way of minimising their impact are discussed. Sexuality in physical disabilities is studied.
