THE POST-WAR HUNGER IN MOLDAVIAN SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLIC. STATE POLICY IN DISASTER CONDITIONS
Abstract
The article of the history Valeriu Pasat analyzes one of most painful segment from history of the RSS Moldova in the Stalinist epoch, the famine from 1946-1947. The author leads to the conclusions that the famine has been generated by a complex of causes and the fault of those causes would have appeared not only because of the drought, natural disasters but also of the state politics: agriculture destroy; food products insuffi ciency; destroy of the traditional peasant lifestyle; liquidation of the insurance mechanism elaborated for centuries by the rural world; forced acquisition of the agricultural redundancies by the state etc.
