Crush Injury of Forearm in a Child with Uncorrected Large Ventricular Septal Defect-A Case Report
Abstract
A 12 year old child presented with crush injury of forearm and hand. He was diagnosed as a case of uncorrected large Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). Tendon repair, debridement and nailing were done using regional technique. Risks associated with a cardiac patient undergoing non-cardiac emergency procedure are discussed in this report.
