Viabilidade técnica do uso de óleo de cozinha como aditivo em argamassas
Abstract
Brazil is a great generator of domestic waste, cooking oil is one of those residues, which presents, besides the difficulty of its disposal, few solutions of reuse. Thus, it is necessary to create new applications and / or destinations for this material. This work presents a feasibility study of a sustainable mortar for coating and laying, which has cooking oil residue as an additive, in order to enable the reuse of these residues in the IFPB Cajazeiras Campus. The addition was made in the proportions of body of reference without addition, 5ml, 10ml and 15ml. The properties of the mortars were analyzed both in fresh and hardened state and according to the results obtained, they can be classified according to ABNT NBR 13281: 2005, as P3, M6, D2. As for mechanical strength of axial compression, results indicated decrease of resistance in the mortars with residue insertion, this reduction was due to the increasing of addition, the same occurred with the consistency of the mortar. Despite the results, the research presents its importance, since the search for new technologies and the recycling of waste is increasing, it is considered a sustainable alternative to mitigate impacts on the environment.
