Abstract

In this article we will analyze the assumptions and reasons why the white Indianness of the Cleveland fandom has been consolidated. The narration produced by the fandom will be examined through social media, in particular Facebook. and Twitter. The appropriation of Native American culture and history, of which pro-wahoo fans claim to have the exclusive narrative and public representation, is a practice that has been in existence for centuries and which manifests itself even in the reassuring context of sports.
