Optimization of AOC Coupling Processbased on Cloud Computing
Abstract
The coupling efficiency of Active fiber Optical Cable(AOC)has an important effect on the performance of data transmission in the cloud computing environment.This paper carries out the study on the case when the coupling efficiency of the transmission medium AOC is lower than 75%.We first optimize the production process for current AOC by the COB technology.After the optimization process,the multimode sticky installation accuracy is within ± 5μm,and the optical loss can be controlled within 1dB,and the coupling efficiency can be ensured more than 90%.Then,we analyze and calculate the position of the VCSEL by the processes,obtaining the maximum distance from the fiber array to the VCSEL is 117.68μm for the first time.The results show that the COB technology and the 45 degree reflective surface optical fiber coupling process can achieve the requirements of low cost and high efficiency with improved coupling efficiency of AOC.The result in this paper can provide a way for the further study on big data and cloud computing.
