A Creutzfeldt‐Jakob disease case misdiagnosed with acute cerebral infarction and review of the literature

Abstract

Abstract It was critical for the clinician to be aware of the neuroimaging and early‐onset symptoms of this fatal neurodegenerative disease, and avoid initiating inappropriate therapy. Neuroimaging plays a key role in differentiating it from other mimics.
