In therapeutic and educational institutes for children and adolescents with behavioral disorders, we constantly examine their relationship with video games. Our study based on clinical cases explores the role of parents around video games. The paper shows several ways of being together (parent/child) around video game practices: to watch the child play the game, to talk about the game, to share the game, to build oneself through the game, to initiate a discussion thanks to the game, and to frame the game.
