The consolidation of the National System for the Evaluation of Basic Education (SAEB) in the last decade has stimulated state networks to create their own evaluation systems. In Amazonas was created, in 2008, the System of Evaluation of Educational Performance of Amazonas (SADEAM). Both systems (national and state) have as objectives the improvement in educational quality and the implementation of public policies based on the diagnoses and results of evaluations. When verifying that the CETIs have achieved satisfactory indexes in the IDEB, this article aims to analyze the performance of CETI Deputy Gláucio Gonçalves in the large-scale evaluations. The study was based on the analysis of documents, such as the Management Plan and General Rules of CETIs; the IDEB and IDEAM microdata analysis and the description of the evaluation implemented by the State, as well as an interview with the manager to identify the actions managed in the CETI Deputy Gláucio Gonçalves to reach the goals in the external evaluations. There was a continuous increase in CEI's IDEB and IDEAM grades. A tendency to use this "more time" to intensify student preparation for large-scale assessments is identified at the site surveyed. Therefore, it is not a consensus to say that these results are translated as educational quality. Keywords: Large Scale Evaluation. Full-time. Quality.
