Central serous chorioretinopathy(CSCR)has become a common retinal disease in our country. In recent years, the utilisation of optical coherence tomography(OCT)has played a significant role in the study of subretinal fluid(SRF)and analyzing retinal structure changes. At the same time, the enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography(EDI-OCT)has vividly demonstrated the changes of choroidal morphologic of CSCR. In addition, multifocal electroretinography(mf-ERG)has revealed retinal dysfunction of CSCR. And the combination of OCT and mf-ERG has improved the understanding in the relationships between the functional and structural abnormalities in eyes with CSCR. The wide application of numerous new technologies has provided clues and basis for the diagnosis and treatment as well as prognosis assessment and following-up of CSCR.
