This study aims to examine how the strategy of Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) public relations strategy in communicating and socializing the Financial Information Law to Financial Services Institutions (LJK). Inother words, there is a relationship built between tax authorities and LJK which ultimately benefits the DGT to strengthen the taxation database and increase LJK tax awareness. This study used qualitative methods because this method is highly relevant to describe the findings of research that relates to DGT public relations with LJK. The results showed that in the dissemination and communication of information on the Financial Information Law, the DGT carries out a communication strategy with the necessaryelements, namely communicators, messages and the right media / channel so that the DGT can k now the steps to be tak en in the program education for LJK if the theme of increasing the implementation of LJK tax obligations will be carried out.
