In actual world, electric transmission towers have a foundation system whose geometry resembles a footing; This design has presented great advantages and different study approaches have been given, from the way it is built, the construction site and if it can be done in a modular way; The research focus will be the redesign of this geometry, proposing a change which we will call the double footing geometry. This design will be tested in a computational way through engineering assistance software, CAE (computer aided engineering). The analysis shows that the proposed geometry supports the loads to which a foundation is normally subjected, validating that it is a possible system for its implementation and replacement of the current geometry. It is highlighted that to comply with the operating conditions, the volume of construction material is lower with respect to the current geometry, alleviating the costs of the foundations of each tower, having a lower construction value, thus presenting an advantage with respect to the simple footing foundation.
