Determinazione dei parametri delle curvature esistenti nel grande emiciclo dei Mercati di Traiano nell'area archeologica centrale a Roma

Abstract

The article describes a new study developed on the great hemicycle of the Mercati di Traiano: the analysis of the geometric shape of the arc curvature. For this study, the data collected on the occasion of the Technology for All 2015 forum were used. The collected data (point clouds) were obtained from high precision instruments (e.g. laser scanners) distributed by the producers present at the forum in a sort of mutual collaboration that allowed to have more data sets of the same or different nature, subsequently analyzed and compared to reach the knowledge of the structural geometric parameters of the structures and therefore define their historical genesis.
