Key points 1. The angulation of SMV and SV in patients with PVT was lower than that in patients without PVT. 2. With the change in angulation of the SMV and SV, the flow pattern of blood flow changed greatly, especially the helical flow, which is associated with the presence of PVT. 3. The change in portal hemodynamics is associated with the development of PVT.
