Effect of workforce diversity on employee performance: A case study in Ho Chi Minh City
Abstract
Human resource is important for anorganization’s survival, and if any organization wants to maintain stability and sustainable development, it must have qualified workforce to make sure that it operates effectively. This study is to find how the workforce influences the employees’ performance in Ho Chi Minh City. With the data of 240 employees working in Ho Chi Minh City and using descriptive statistical analysis, Cronbach’s Alpha, EFA and regression, the study found that the factors of workforce diversity affecting the employees’ performance are workforce diversity of experience and workforce diversity of age. From these results, the study gives management implications on workforce diversity to improve employees’ performance.
