Given the limitations of the original primary current and voltage carrying tests prior to substation operation, the paper expounds the principle of high current and high voltage decoupling and synchronous output control and proposes an on-load test method prior to substation operation based on high current and high voltage decoupling and synchronous output, that is, by reasonable arrangement of the state of the primary equipment under test, the testing current and voltage can normally pass through components to be tested such as TA and TV, and then the analog on-load test is completed by discriminating the recovery signal. The paper also introduces test schemes under different wiring modes and voltage classes. The engineering case shows that this method can fully meet the test requirements of substation with voltage levels of 500 kV and below prior to operation and ensure the correct and efficient circuit check before substation operation.
