In this article the criminal proceeding and judicial operations in courts will be redesigned and redefined according to three principles of designing the processes using business process reengineering approach based on information technology and a new methodology known as 5PR in order to reduce the prolongation of hearing and speed up judicial operations. Finally, an information system will be presented for doing judicial operations and improved processes. According to the methodology, this research is an applied research accomplished by field study. Data used are of "qualitative and interpretive" type and they were gathered from various sources including interviewing, observing, studying texts and criminal laws, and other methods, under the supervision and cooperation of legal and management experts. Using qualitative research techniques as well as 4 techniques for qualitative analysis, 5 criteria for increasing speed and decreasing time were extracted by considering a number of constraints and conditions. Finally, 5 core criminal processes were defined as replacing 10 current processes.
