Aortic Paravalvular Leak Repair
Abstract
A 71-year-old male with endocarditis mediated severe paravalvular leak and nonischemic cardiomyopathy underwent percutaneous repair attempts with a closure device followed by valve-in-valve transcatheter aortic replacement procedure. The case was complicated by cardiac arrest requiring hemodynamic support with Impella placement and secondary iatrogenic central aortic insufficiency requiring further intervention.
