Perfil, desafios e oportunidades dos comerciantes do bairro de comércio popular Vila Portes da cidade de Foz do Iguaçu – PR

Abstract

In the present study we aimed to reflect and carry out practical research so as to understand the challenges and opportunities that the trader who is inserted in a frontier region faces, seeking to encourage such practices and experiences of that reality . The objective of this work was to identify the profile, challenges and opportunities of the traders of the neighborhood of Vila Portes, in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, getting to know about the formation of the neighborhood, through researches with traders and their profile analysis, challenges and opportunities. The research and collection methods depart from the principle of searching for information about the Vila Portes traders , through qualitative research, getting to know better the challenges and opportunities they had, and the quantitative, more specific and comprehensive search for the general profile of the trader in the border area. Results found are very important for future administrators and traders in the region, because besides improving the understanding of the local trade area , they also provide a profile of the local traders as well as opportunities for new traders.. Research also sought to understand the challenges faced by local traders , and tried to find possible solutions to enhance the continuous improvement of this region of popular commerce.
