Reaction to Yadav S et al.: invalid presentation of bilateral synchronous presentation of spermatocytic seminoma

Abstract

We read with interest the report by Yadav and Gupta describing a case of bilateral synchronous presentation of spermatocytic seminoma in a middle aged Indian male. Considering the malignant tumor as a rare entity, we highlight the inaccuracies in the report, and the need for adequate radiographic imaging and intra/post-operative histopathological findings to ascertain this case as a bilateral synchronous presentation of spermatocytic seminoma.
