THEORETICAL STUDY OF THE POSSIBILITIES OF MODELING THE PRODUCTIVITY IN MEDICAL SERVICES

Abstract

The study aims to summarize the most important aspects in defining the productivity of services, ingeneral, and healthcare, in particular. This research aims to distinguish and detect the main ideas necessary forunderstanding productivity in healthcare, in order to design the foundation of an econometric model suitable tothe studied topics.From the methodological point of view, the documentary material, the studies and the observations on theideas found in the literature and developments are presented on the main ideas, defining for the productivity inservices, with emphasis on intellect-intensity and, of course, keeping a certain chronological order required toreveal the aspects of evolution and development of the ideas; so regarding the development of this article we didnot limited ourselves to a simple presentation of the authors, but for an optical doctrinal issues (theoreticalconcepts and defining ideas) related to topics. Mostly, the research method is the comparative method. For eachdefinitive element of the healthcare pentagon, the main factors and the main effects, resulting from the analysisas adequate to be considered in the modelling, are setup, so as some important parameters, like other effectivecomponents for econometric analysis.The research results define the main points of views of the immaterial productivity, applicable inhealthcare and available to be used as a theoretical base for a conceptual model as this could be developed andverified through empirical future researches.
