This paper study mainly on the reasonable haulage roadway position of successive panel between two adjoint panels .Relying on a mine for the project background,by the theoretical analysis,three zones in the vertical direction of the solid coal side were given:Solid coal stress zone along one side of the goaf,transitional zone and elastic zone along the floor.According to the principle of roadway layout,the roadway should be arranged vertically in the elastic zone along the floor and horizontally in the low-stress region of the limit equilibrium zone.The reasonable staggered horizontal distance between adjacent roadways for this project background was found to be 2 m by theoretical analysis and FLAC3D numerical simulation.In the engineering application,combined support was applied on the haulage roadway,and the deformation of the surrounding rock in the roof,floor and sides of the haulage roadway was effectively controlled according to the actual field test.
