Archéologie et paysage à Hyères : deux sites antiques au cœur d’une Opération grand site

Abstract

The Grand Site campaign “Giens peninsula and Hyères salt marshes”, launched in Hyères in 2011, provides an opportunity to showcase two archaeological sites—that of Olbia and that of Aristaeus. Drawing on a description of ongoing projects and of their specific constraints, this presentation shows how the Grand Site campaign makes possible a synergistic development of these two rare cultural and natural heritage sites.
