Abstract

Assessing environmental impact : multicritaria analysis. Managing uncertainty : Fuzzy models. In November 1991 and February 1992, the Fondation Universitaire Luxembourgeoise (FUL) organised eight workshops about environment management. They were lead by Professor L. Duckstein (University of Nevada, USA). The first four concerned multicriteria analysis while the other ones vvere dealing with fuzzy logic. The attendance, meanly gathering researchers and decision makers, provided real problems allowing the demonstration of these technics use fullness in decision processes.
