Ulus Citadel region is the most significant urban focus which consitutes the historical core of the capital Ankara and which locates the historical buildings of the old settlement. Although the current position of Kaleiçi has undergone tremendous changes in its configuration; histocial continuity, the marks of the past and physical values continue while, at the same time, they serve to the traditional part of the city. The purpose of this article is to present how Hatipoglu mansion’s could transfer to the future while its traditional speciality is preserved, it is sustainability suited to present conditions by providing comfort conditions with user’s needs to be repaired in accordance with restoration principle in order to continue cultural heritage Hatipoglu mansion’s existence which has been built in the historical city center of Angora (Ankara). Within the scope of Hatipoglu mansion’s preservation and its historic fabric which is preserved its traditional specialties; the street- parcel- structure relationships and building’s architectural specifications have been examined after investigating castle physical texture. Phases that Hatipoglu mansion’s has been experienced was given while evaluating obtained sources and using 1929 cadastral map, all these works have been directed to restitution and restoration decisions of the structure.
