According to TecNM´s vision, the following investigation was realized about violence within young adults who are recently entering Los Mochis Institute of Technology in the school year 2014-2015; to identify if they have experienced situations of violence. The field of study was 1187 students; the investigation instrument utilized was a questionnaire with 34 items, applied to a representative sample of 489 students. The results obtained were: 23.11% declared to have suffered psychological violence, 9.20% suffered physical violence, 7.77% patrimonial violence, 6.75% economical violence and 5.32% sexual violence. It can be appreciated that even though a drastic problem does not exist it is important to generate attention programs to prevent violence and to take care and to guide those who have suffered. Given the actual context that adolescents and young adults live, it´s important to apply public policies and action programs to deal with the problematic.
