Der Philologe als Metarezipient des medialen Textes. Am Beispiel der Audiodeskription
Abstract
This article is an attempt at scrutinising the phenomenon of audiodescription as a sphere of audiovisual translation from a philological and translation standpoint. It tackles an issue of what competences a philologist must possess in order to be able to conduct the process of audiodescription of moving pictures as well as which of the skills developed during a philological degree course can be used in the process of translating moving pictures into words.
