Legal Bases of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Functioning
Abstract
In the present article authors analyze historical and legal bases of creation and activity of the Constitutional Court of Republic of Belarus. Authors note that one of characteristic features of the Soviet form of government is absence in system of the supreme bodies of the power of the constitutional court therefore till 1989 didn't contain in the Belarusian Constitution the norms regulating the status of specialized body of the constitutional control or supervision. In the conclusion authors draw a conclusion about a strong position of the Constitutional Court of Republic of Belarus in formation of standard and legal base of the country.
