The article presents the issue of compensation and redress for wasted holiday in tourist services. The results obtained showed that Polish respondents attach importance primarily to the fundamental aspects related to the execution of the service itself, while German respondents pay more attention to the comfort of services and valuations of these areas on an equal footing with the basic. Little impact on the results of the study had a demographic profile of respondents. The results of the study showed that the price hike does not affect the amount of valuation. Was of crucial importance while the economic situation of the country and the amount of revenue generated by the consumers.
