Identifying Factors Affecting Payame Noor University Managers' Ethical DecisionsMany scholars in the field of management science believe that this science is fundamentally predicated on decision-making and, to say the least, part of it delves into the issue of ethical decisions. An important finding in the human resource arena, of particular value to the managers, is to understand the factors that lead onto ethical / unethical decisions or behaviors. This research, as an integral component of the researcher's PhD thesis, serves to identify the factors that influence the ethical decisions made by managers at Payame Noor University. The research method has been survey-based in this instance whereby the Delphi technique was used in order to obtain the views of the experts. The researcher, reviewing the previous studies and theoretical considerations, has chosen 18 variables out of the 39 identified variables as influential factors in this particular case. The experts thereafter finalized those variables that had been introduced in the related survey questionnaire. "Religious Beliefs", "Personal Values", "Ethical Leadership", "Ethical Judgment", "Ethical Environment", "Ethical System" and "Organizational Culture", were found to have the greatest impact on the managers' ethical decisions, and "Age", "Work Experience", "Management Experience" and "Gender" having minimal impacts.
