The constitutional reforms to article 27 made possible the incorporation of socially owned land (ejido and communal) real estate market (private property) and the purchase of property by foreigners in restricted areas. These reforms have contributed to the growth of formal urban land market, a situation that arises in the case of the residential and commercial housing estate Aldea Zama, built in an area of 74 hectares in the municipality of Tulum, Quintana Roo. This work aims to analyze the relationship between neoliberal reforms and their impact on the restructuring of the territory.
