SINGLE PARENT WOMEN’S FAMILY VALUES

The article considers the family values of a mother raising her child in a single-parent family and particular characteristics of her interaction with the child. The family values and ideas of family roles distribution of single women are characterized in comparison with those of married women. Connection between the family values of mothers and the nature of their relation to the child is analyzed. It is demonstrated that the family values of single women determine their relation to the child to a greater degree than it happens to women raising children with a husband, judging by the particular features of their co-existence with the child. Conclusion is made about the particular features of family values of women, the distribution of roles in a family being a condition of their constructive or destructive attitude to the child.
