A single-layered diatomic metasurface (SDM) is proposed to manipulate multiple parameters of light field including the amplitude, phase and state of polarization and realize multiple channel holographic imaging. The diatom consists of two identical c-silicon nanopillars, complex amplitude holographic imaging, polarization multiplex imaging and structured light generation are realized by the rotated nanopillar array. Many applications are exemplified to verify the light manipulation abilities of the designed diatomic metasurfaces. The simple design, convenient operation and versatile functionalities of SDM will pave the road for the applications of metasurfaces in optical integration and optical multiplexing.
