Ice making in Brno - History of Jundrov Ice-Houses. Part 3: The ice-works bought by the Starobrno Brewery.

Abstract

The third and final part of the serial describes overtaking of the Jundrov ice-works by the Starobrno Brewery in the first half of the 20th century. The author follows negotiation among the owners of the ice-works, Moravian bank and the Brewery. He describes the economic situation of the company, response of pub-keepers to the sale of ice-works. He deals with the further development of ice harvesting in Brno to the termination of ice-houses operation and their liquidation(In Czech, English summary only)
