Metal-organic frameworks as mimic enzymes have been widely used in many fields due to their advantages such as easy preparation, low cost, and high stability, compared with the shortcomings of natural enzymes such as easy inactivation and high cost of preparation and recovery. The outline of the metal-organic frameworks are briefly summarized and the composition of the metal-organic frameworks and their existing types are described. The detection mechanism and latest research progress of metal-organic frameworks as mimetic enzymes in the biochemical analysis of glucose, active protein, lipid active ingredients, vitamins, inorganic salts, pathogenic bacteria, heavy metals and other active substances are mainly introduced. The future challenges and application prospects of this mimetic enzymes are prospected.
