Editorial Exciting Times for Our Journal

Abstract

We have just received the breaking news that our most recent Impact Factor (IF) count is now 3.14! up from the first measure at 1.5. This should really give us self-confidence, and encouragement to pursue even more pace towards quality papers. The outstanding IF growth is of course attributed to the open access format and to some extent a rather fast turnaround time. However there is much more to excel in the publishing. I will come back in the next editorial with several more improvements that are underway. Thanks to all authors for keeping on publishing the quality manuscripts and great kudos to our champion editors that really have proven themselves to work with the authors to coach and constantly improve the manuscripts.
