Beef is one of food products whose consumption demand is gradually increasing in China. Food safety is always the focus of consumers, and regulations and standards are powerful measures to ensure food safety. According to channels such as official websites of domestic and foreign regulatory and standard releases and portal websites of regulatory agencies, this article collects, compiles and summarizes the development of domestic and foreign beef-related laws and regulations and standards formulation and revision work after 2015. It mainly involves beef product specification, classification, limit, inspection, labeling, import and export, at the same time, it analyzes the characteristics of current domestic and foreign laws and regulations and standards, discusses the present situation and development direction of beef regulations and standards system in our country, and puts forward suggestions, hoping to provide a reference for improving regulations and standards in our country, regulating beef industry production and guaranteeing import and export.
