MECHANICAL MIGRATION OF POPULATION IN RUSSIA AS A POLITICAL PROBLEM
Abstract
The article considers the processes of internal and external migration as one of the key political problems that needs to be studied. External and internal migration flows in Russia are analyzed. The consequences of the migration movement of the population on political processes are identified and described. The political consequences of the internal and external migration flows in Russia are compared. The author comes to the conclusion that external and internal migration has a significant impact on the socio-economic and political tension in the society and poses a threat to Russia’s national security. However, the positive effects of external migration on the socio-economic sphere cannot be ignored, as they can be considered as a basis for replacing the shortage of working age strata.
