The use of the modern times blog as a pedagogical strategy for teaching Art and Literature

This article aims to present the blog's potential as an educational tool to aid in the teaching-learning process in a multidisciplinary way. It presents the results of an exploratory study in Centro de Ensino Jornalista João Francisco Lisboa (CEJOL), in São Luís, with a sample made up of two classes of the 2nd year of Art and Literature subjects who participated in the construction of the Blog Tempos Modernos, which aimed to broaden the content covered in class on the European Artistic Vanguards and their influences on the Week of Modern Art of São Paulo. It was found that the experience with this tool enabled the participating students hone skills like text production, creativity, interaction and collaboration within the cognitive learning process.
