Abstract

This article presents the possibility of the acquisition of the local investments financing by means of issuing the municipal bonds on the Catalyst market. The article includes the presentation of local investments and the structure of bonds issued by local governments and the legal aspects of issued. The corporate bonds dominated on the market, but market municipal bonds are also important. The article also presents electronic order book turnover value, number of issues, number of new listings on the Catalyst market and analyzes characteristics and performance of municipal bonds introduced to trading on the various platforms of the Catalyst market.
