This article is the result of an investigation that aimed to learn, understand and interpret from a gender perspective the empowerment of women developing agricultural investment projects, in the execution of productive activities in the municipalities of Ahome and El Fuerte, in the State of Sinaloa; this research was focused on a group of 20 women; their situation in relation to empowerment is described and analyzed with greater support. Indicators based on the Women's Empowerment in Agriculture Index (WEAI) were used, applying the following dimensions: production, resources, income, leadership and time use, when the questionnaire was applied to the subjects, we concluded that empowerment predominates in all areas.
