The article presents considerations certainly was the degree of attractiveness of the Polish capital market against the background of the capital markets of other countries. U sed in the field of basic indicators describing the development of the Warsaw Stock Exchange comparing their values with the values postulated in economic theory and values characterizing other securi­ties exchanges.
