The article presents the idea that the Creator in Karamzin’s poetry consistently marks the opposition of the sentimentalist classical truth of “feeling” / enlightening truth of the “reason” / “truth” and then their reunification on a new basis. The tools of such reunion are Nature (pantheistical embodying the Creator) and Poetry, that reveals God in Nature to people. The flight of the hero into the world of Nature makes her homeless, and the other world - unreliable. The divine unity of nature and civilization is proved “from the contrary”.
