Abstract

We seek to answer the question: how ought an image to be read, taking into account what one assumes to be its internal dynamics? This intention differs from a reading of the image that is somehow “flat”, without reference to the depth of its utterance, to the tensions and intentions that inhabit it, or to the infinity of reminiscences it can arouse.
