Impacts of the Tractors Speed Progress on the Soil Structure and a Crop Potatoes Yield. The speed effects of soil work (slow, average and rapid), on physical parameters (farming profile, resistance to penetration, voluminous mass and depth of ploughing) of a sandy-limono soil area of Chott-Mariem (Sousse), and their consequence on the fresh matter plant organs and the tubers yield of a potato crop are examined. The ploughing and ploughing resumption are carried out using a share plough and discs pulverizator. The results showed that work at slow speed has gotten a better structured soil and a more important depth of work. Moreover, the soil crop setting revealed a narrow relationship between the agronomic parameters of the potato crop and the structural surrounding medium. Indeed, the worked plots at slow speed have given the best tubers yields. The latter was higher respectively of 28 and 25% than the two other plots conducted with mean and high speed.
